Wendy Herlihy
Wendy graduated from Colorado State Veterinary School in 2013. Following graduation she completed a year-long internship at the Fort Collins Veterinary Emergency and Rehabilitation Hospital. After her internship, Wendy stayed on in Fort Collins as a rehabilitation practitioner. Wendy also works as an ER doctor at the Animal ER, in Littleton, CO. Prior to going to vet school, Wendy was a climbing and mountaineering instructor for the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS) in Lander, Wyoming. During that time she also raced sled dogs throughout Canada and the American west, representing the Caribou Creek Racing Kennel. Her experiences racing dogs inspired her to go to veterinary school after ten years of teaching in the mountains. Steve and Wendy currently live in Golden, CO with their two dogs.
Steve Herlihy
Steve grew up in Boston, MA and went to college at St. Lawrence University in upstate New York. During his college years he became passionate about white water boating, climbing, and backcountry skiing. After graduating college he became a field instructor for the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS). After working various types of courses for NOLS for several years, he decided to go to law school. Steve graduated from the University of Wyoming Law school in 2009 and went onto complete a clerkship for the state district court in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Since then Steve has been working in construction defect litigation and is currently an attorney at the Burg Simpson Law Firm in Denver, CO.
